Mets Finally Get K-Rod's Medical Reports...

The NY Post is reporting that the Mets finally got Francisco Rodriguez's medical reports yesterday. The hold up according to agent Paul Kinzer, was that a "miscommunication" with the Angels - K-Rod's former team - caused the reports to be delayed.

"We were a little late getting [the reports] to the Mets, but they're in now and every thing's good," Kinzer said yesterday afternoon.

The Mets told K-Rod's agent they would get back to him, but probably not until after the Thanksgiving holiday. That lack of urgency is another sign that GM Omar Minaya is letting the closer market come to him instead of the other way around.

Mets expected to try and make a 3 or 4 year offer for K-Rod's services...
