Quotes of Jimmy Rollins

In the New York Post,  Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins has high praise for New York Mets pitcher,  Johan Santana - but not for the left-hander's team.

Speaking at yesterday's celebration for the Phillies' World Series victory, Rollins mentioned Santana, and the crowd booed. But Rollins was cheered after saying the Mets forgot one thing: "It takes more than one player to bring home a championship."

In Newsday he had something similar to say, the Phillies shortstop was speaking at the World Series title parade Friday when he told the huge crowd: "We can talk about the New York Mets. They brought in that great pitcher, Johan Santana . . . but they forgot that it takes more than one player to bring home a championship."

Minaya better make the Mets look better this off-season, so they can kick the Phillies' asses next year!
