Mets non-tender Reyes, Burgos

According to Rotoworld.com, the Mets have non-tendered infielder Argenis Reyes and pitcher Ambiorix Burgos.

Burgos, was involved in a hit and run accident in the Dominican Republic that left two women dead and he was also involved in a altercation in Queens with his girlfriend (on non related Mets business) .

Reyes was brought up to fill the shoes of a Luis Castillo and take some heat off veteran Damion Easley. He really was not the offensive threat only hitting .218. He looked as though he can be a good defensive player, as he proved in 2008.

Mets cutting the dead wood.. there should be some more signings to fill the Mets holes...Mets 40 Man Roster is at 33 players (MLB still has Easley Listed, which is a mistake)
