Wright will be back sooner than later

New York Mets star 3B David Wright is recovering nicely and should return from the disabled list as soon as he's eligible, reports the Newark Star-Ledger.

Wright was hit in the head with a Matt Cain fastball last weekend and has not played since. The all-star is hitting .324 with a .414 on-base percentage and 24 stolen bases in 115 games this season, and he's eligible to return on September 1.

Fernando Tatis has started in Wright's place and has hits in each of his last five games, but is just 6-for-23 in Wright's absence, driving in the same numbers of runs Wright has since the injury occurred.

This is a great site that you have here. I have a sports site myself where everyone can debate freely on controversial sports issues. I was wondering if we could possibly do a link exchange. Let me know if this is possible.

Sincerely,
Jason
